FaxBeam Terms of Use
Last updated: 2 October 2026
These terms add to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to FaxBeam.
What FaxBeam is
FaxBeam sends faxes from your iPhone. It scans or imports your documents, sends them to the fax numbers you choose, shows the status of every fax, and for subscribers provides a fax number that receives faxes into the app. Faxes can currently be sent to numbers in the United States and Canada.
Subscriptions
FaxBeam offers auto-renewable subscriptions for unlimited sending and receiving:
- FaxBeam Weekly: $8.99 per week.
- FaxBeam Monthly: $28.99 per month.
- FaxBeam Yearly: $248.99 per year.
The app shows the current price in your currency before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies, not by us.
Free test fax. Each Apple Account can send one free test fax of one page to one number.
Fair use. "Unlimited" means no per-fax or per-page charge. To keep the service available and affordable, a weekly fair-use page limit applies, counting pages sent to each recipient and pages received; the app shows how much of it you have used. Sending may pause until the limit frees up.
Your responsibilities
- Send only documents you have the right to send, to numbers you are allowed to fax.
- Never send unsolicited advertising ("junk faxes"). US law restricts fax advertising, and the sender is responsible for complying with it.
- Each fax carries a header with the sending number, date and time, as US law requires.
- Do not use FaxBeam as the only way to send medical or other emergency information.
- FaxBeam is not designed for records that legally require a signed data protection agreement with your fax provider. Use a provider that offers one for those.
We may limit, pause or block use that looks like broadcasting, abuse or fraud, or that damages the service for other people.
Delivery
Delivery depends on the receiving fax machine and the phone networks. A fax can fail because the line is busy, unanswered, or not a fax machine; the app shows the reason when it can. Pages of a failed fax that were not transmitted do not count toward the fair-use limit.
Fax numbers
A fax number is assigned to your subscription while it is active. After a subscription ends, the number may be released, and released numbers can't be recovered or transferred.
Not affiliated
FaxBeam is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any other fax product.
Service changes
We may change or discontinue features. This document describes the app as it ships today.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaxBeam is provided "as is" without warranties, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
